South Windsor Democrats Serving Pulled Pork Sandwiches at the 118th Wapping Fair September 9 - 12, 2010

Members of the South Windsor Democratic Town Committee and their families will be volunteering their time serving delicious pulled pork "slider" sandwiches for $1.00 each (So you can buy a bunch!) and bottled water for $1.00 to the public at the 118th Wapping Fair. The event will take place at Evergreen Walk (behind LA Fitness) on September 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th. Please stop by the South Windsor Democrats booth, say hello to our committee members and volunteers, and get yourself a delicious meal! 


The booth will be open from 4pm to 10pm on Thursday, 6pm to 10pm on Friday, Saturday from 11:30am to 10pm, and from 11:30am to 6pm on Sunday. 


The Wapping Fair is always a great time, so come down for live entertainment, agricultural and animal exhibits, and of course food, fun, and rides for the whole family. 

South Windsor Democrats Nominate Hugh Brower as Candidate for 14th District State House Representative.

The South Windsor Democratic Town Committee wholeheartedly endorsed and nominated Hugh Brower as their candidate for State Representative for the 14th district at their caucus meeting on Tuesday, May 25th.

Hugh has served as a member of the South Windsor Inland Wetlands Agency/Conservation Commission, and on the town's Transit and Highway Advisory Commission. Additionally Hugh serves on the board of the Connecticut Trolley Museum. Following the caucus Brower said,

"I am very proud to have been nominated to run for State Representative in the 14th Assembly District of South Windsor! Thank you to everyone who attended the caucus...".

Next Regular SWDTC meeting to be held September 23rd

The next regular meeting of the South Windsor Democratic Town Committee will be held on Thursday, September 23rd, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the Town Council Chambers in the Town Hall.

All registered Democrats are welcome to attend. Please remember to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the South Windsor Food and Fuel Bank.
